In December 2025, award winning adventurer Jordan Wylie MBE will embark on an audacious, world-first expedition that promises to etch a new chapter into the history of Antarctic exploration. Sponsored by Dyno-Rod, the UK’s leading plumbing and drainage force and working very closely with the polar experts at Shackleton. Jordan will set out on a breathtaking adventure across some of the most inhospitable and untouched wilderness on Earth.

Launching from Union Glacier base camp, deep within the heart of the coldest, windiest, and driest continent – Jordan will ski, towing all his equipment through the imposing and unrelenting terrain of the Heritage Range. This is the southernmost region of Antarctica’s towering Ellsworth Mountains, a place defined by jagged ridges, razor sharp peaks, and huge glaciers. The area’s treacherous nunataks and formidable escarpments will challenge every ounce of his endurance and resolve.

In this grueling odyssey, Jordan will not only navigate one of the planet’s harshest landscapes but also attempt to conquer the ultimate prize: the summit of a pristine, unclimbed peak. Scaling an untouched giant will demand unwavering determination, courage, precision planning, and extraordinary resilience in the face of unpredictable, extreme conditions.

This isn’t just an expedition, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime journey into the unknown, a fearless quest that fuses two monumental challenges into one epic adventure at the end of Earth. Combining the spirit of exploration with the raw intensity of survival, the Antarctic Odyssey 2025 will redefine what it means to push the boundaries of human exploration and the spirit of endeavour.

Throughout 2025 Jordan will be taking on lots of challenges as part of his training plan and he hopes that you might consider donating to help him support more Army Cadets across the UK. Jordan has once again chosen the Army Cadets official charity (ACCT UK) as his beneficiary charity and invited you to consider donating, supporting or even getting involved with your own fundraising team.
